"To most people, they are called hard woods to which they are not conifers, we in Yucatan, we say so to those who are physically. These woods by their densities are more like some metals and are difficult to work and unstable, but at the same time a unique beauty and expression. Making furniture with these exotic woods is a challenge that begins with the drying of it ... it was in the industry of hardwood floors that I knew them and I came to discover their secrets. They are the precious species of the Yucatan Peninsula, authentic jewels of nature. - GP
